Evolving from Siloes to Synergy

What was the challenge?

Before the implementation, the client faced significant hurdles in managing its large and diverse portfolio of IT and non-IT projects. Their environment was characterized by:

  • Lack of unified oversight for cross-regional and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Inconsistent reporting standards and misaligned metrics across countries and business units.
  • Disjointed intake and governance processes, with tools and workflows varying between IT and business domains.
  • This fragmentation hindered visibility, delayed decision-making, and prevented a cohesive view of strategic initiatives.
Designing a Unified SPM Landscape

How did we help?

Between 2021 and 2022, SPOC implemented SPM (formerly ITBM) on the ServiceNow platform to bring structure, visibility, and control to the client’s portfolio landscape. The solution covered:

  • Demand, project, program, portfolio, and resource management.

  • Reporting through KPIs, RIDAC, and cross-domain status updates.

  • Integration of performance and planning data across IT and non-IT functions.

  • The setup spanned multiple regions and unified siloed reporting structures into a central framework.

What were the results?

The project aimed to unify portfolio processes across departments and regions, standardize reporting for better governance, and improve visibility into IT and business initiatives. It enabled KPI-driven decisions with integrated risk and RIDAC tracking, while supporting coordinated, long-term planning at the program level.

From Vision to Reality
